Owl Discount Code

Current Code:

Use promo code JOEL53415 for 15% off at http://OwlPaddle.com

Free Shipping to US and Canada on orders over $99!

My take:

I’ve used the CXE, the PXE and the Talon X1 and they are all exceptional.

They excel at control and spin, as the unique texture helps grab the ball and generate spin.

The Silent Storm SS1 has the same texture and is insanely cheap – great for beginner or intermediate players.

My Best picks from this brand:

• Talon X1 – Power, control, spin, touch, quiet (disorient your enemy!) – this one has it all
• PXE – Basically just a cheaper version of the Talon – slightly smaller sweet spot, but a great paddle and compares to much pricier paddles

Who should use this coupon code:

Anyone who loves to spin and wants the added fun of having your opponents say things like “I hate when you use that paddle, the sound messes me up!” and also anyone with tennis elbow!

Apollo Pickleball Discount Code

Current Code:

Use promo code DINKDYNASTY for 15% off at http://www.ApolloPickleball.ca

Free Shipping in Canada!

My take:

Unless I am mistaken, this is the only Canadian brand with a Pro player collab paddle (signature paddle). This brand offers great paddles at prices that can’t be beat. From beginner paddles to advanced, the quality and value of these is impossible to beat!

My Best picks from this brand:

• MK47 Pro – Designed alongside Maria Klokotzky, Canada’s #1 ranked female pro. Adjustable weights, Gen 5 foam (not Gen 4 like many popular foam paddles) plus EVA foam ring, it really is the best of all worlds. The light handle keeps fast hands at the net that you typically only see in widebody paddles.
• Hyperfoam HF-1 – A great foam paddle at an affordable price, however I’d likely grab the MK 47 Pro for an extra $20 if you’re looking for foam
• Olympian Series – A few paddles ion this category to choose from – if you prefer the Gen 3.5 paddles (Honeycomb with foam injected edges) then any of these will be a great paddle for you!

Who should use this coupon code:

The MK47 Pro is a Power paddle, so if you are inclined to something like a Boomstik, this paddle is cheaper, newer generation and the weights are adjustable!

Suitable for all levels – foam paddles provide power but also a great touch and a huge sweet spot, making it good for beginner, intermediate, advanced and even pro players. For those who prefer the older style Gen 3+ paddles, the Olympian Series offer several great options.

Poach Discount Code

Current Code:

Use promo code DINKDYNASTY for 15% off at http://Poach.net

Free Shipping to Canada for $150+ CAD orders and to the US for $100+ USD orders!

My take:

I’ve used the Havoc M3, Slingshot and their newest Gen 5 (yes, Gen 5!) paddle – the Rocket!

Poach doesn’t just do what everyone else does, they innovate. The unique grit on the Havoc M3 is proof enough of that.

They have a paddle to suit any playing style, and with my discount code, are very affordable.

My Best picks from this brand:

• Rocket – Gen 5 triple layer foam paddle has good power and great touch and a HUGE sweet spot make it suitable for ANY level player.
• Havoc M3 – Unique control paddle with great color options and fun to play with. If a foam paddle isn’t for you, this is my next pick.

Who should use this coupon code:

The Rocket paddle is highly recommend for those wanting a foam paddle that is capable of power but excels at control. If you are someone who likes or think you might like the Selkirk Omni, this would be your best bet and at a fraction of the cost. No adjustable weights, but Poach sells the lead stick on weights if you really want them!

For those looking to take their game to the next level, a Gen 5 foam paddle is a huge upgrade and since it has a massive, forgiving sweet spot, beginners and advanced players alike can benefit from this type of paddle – all for the price of a Gen 3 paddle!

TYROL Pickleball Shoes Discount Code

Current Code:

Use promo code DINKDYNASTY for 20% off at http://TyrolPickleball.com

Free shipping on all Canadian and US orders!

My take:

These have by the far the most durable outsoles of any shoes I’ve seen – The rubber is made of Vibram for many of their shoes – I immediately recognized this from rock climbing – if it’s used for rock climbing shoes, you know it’s durable!

I also have a friend that has had a pair for over 2 years and plays regularly on the roughest local courts and barely has any wear at all.

These shoes also have great ankle support and a wide toe box (seems to be wider toe box than Acacia)

Finally, they are a Canadian brand, so worth supporting!

My Best picks from this brand:

• Striker Pro – great ankle support, durable Vibram outsole and wide toe box
• Velocity V or Striker V if you want a similar quality shoe with more color options!

Who should use this coupon code:

Anyone wanting to support Canadian business, a great Pickleball specific shoe with great support, spacious toe box and unbeatably durable outsoles.

Kitchen Blockers Discount Code

Current Code:

Use promo code DINKDYNASTY for 10% off at http://KitchenBlockers.com

Free shipping on orders $110 and over to the US and Canada.

My take:

I’ll be the first to admit – these are overpriced.

I eventually got my pair after I got tired of my glasses fogging up. I tried popping the lenses out of multiple pairs of sunglasses and safety glasses and found the ball could still reach my eye through them or they partially blocked my vision.

I eventually decided, while these are pricey and honestly a bit goofy looking, they work and I play a lot of pickleball so they’d be worth it long term.

My Best picks from this brand:

• Slim Fits – I’d never have thought a slim fit would be what I need but these do fit me well and I prefer them over the larger fit
• Fun colors – they are always releasing new colors. You can go standard to try and make them not stand out, or embrace the blockers and get bold fun colors!

Who should use this coupon code:

Everyone who values their eyesight! Seriously, damaging or even losing an eye is not worth it! If conventional safety glasses bother you with fog and/or glare, these are the ticket!

SOLE Discount Code (YourSole.com)

Current Code:

Use promo code 1619326 for $20 off your first insoles at http://yoursole.com

Free shipping on all full priced footbeds (when you log in) to Canada and US.

My take:

These are amazing custom insoles that form to YOUR foot at a fraction of the price of typical custom orthotics hence the Your Sole name!

I have been using custom insoles like these for some time, and while they aren’t magic, every bit helps when playing on hard surfaces – less joint, foot and back pain is always a good thing!

These aren’t your gel or fluffy insoles, they are firm and supportive giving you what you actually need versus what feels “comfy”.

My Best picks from this brand:

• Active – My favorite, especially since I promote wide toe box in shoes. I usually get Medium since it is enough to give great support without crowding your foot into your shoe and the Active sole will last a long time.
• Performance – Another great option utilizing cork. Better for the planet, and naturally good for odor control though will wear out quicker than the active.

Who should use this coupon code:

Every player who wants to minimize joint, back, hip and foot pain while maximizing court time and realize a “one size fits all” insole is not the ticket.

PB Vision Discount Code

Current Code:

Use promo code DINKDYNASTY for an extra 4 hours (240 minutes) free processing time when you sign up for a subscription at http://pb.vision

My take:

PB Vision is a website/app that uses AI to analyze your games!

You can upload your games and it will give you an estimated DUPR rating for each game. While this can be valuable, I personally find the other insights it gives you much more valuable as it will show you shot quality, accuracy, your strengths and weaknesses, your play style and more!

They are also now integrating with Chat GPT so you can download an analysis and upload it to Chat GPT to get plain English insights into your game.

The rating is useful, but more useful in seeing how you stack up against your opponents than anything else.

My Best picks from this brand:

• Free – You can upload a game up to 25 minutes long for a free analysis to see if PBvision is something you will like!
• Subscription – You can get a monthly or annual subscription giving you a consistent amount of processing minutes all the time. Remember to use the coupon cod DINKDYNASTY for an extra 240 mins free!

Who should use this coupon code:

Anyone who wants to get info about their game! You can use the info to lean into your style or decide that you want to balance your game. You can see where inconsistencies lie and what needs work, it really is a trove of information!
