DUPR PERFORMANCE & ASSESSMENTS

Understand your rating. Improve your game. Build your DUPR.

Your DUPR rating is more than just a number, but understanding how that number is calculated can help you make better decisions about your pickleball development.

Whether you already have a DUPR rating or are starting from scratch, DUPR Coaching is designed to help you understand where you actually stand and develop a strategy to move forward.

This service typically combines both ongoing coaching as well as specific information and strategies to actual improve your DUPR rating.

DUPR Rating Assessment

Not sure if your current DUPR accurately reflects your skill level?

I can assess your current skill level through coaching but I will also look at your rating, match history, results, opponents, partners, and other available data to help determine whether your DUPR is a reasonable reflection of your current ability, or whether there are factors causing it to be higher or lower than expected.

Provisional Rating Assessment

Don’t have a DUPR rating yet?

I can assess your current skill level and provide an estimated provisional DUPR rating, giving you a starting point while you build your official rating through DUPR recorded games.

This can also help you identify the appropriate level of play to seek out as you begin establishing your rating as well as enter DUPR rated tournaments and leagues at the appropriate level.

Build Your DUPR Strategically

Unfortunately, it’s easy to get a DUPR account and rating, but no one tells you how you should be using it. Playing DUPR rated games alone isn’t enough, you have to know how it works and why just mindlessly playing DUPR games is a sure way to tank your DUPR rating.

We’ll develop a strategy based on two key areas:

Improve your actual game
Identify the skills, decision-making, tactics, and consistency that are holding your rating back and work on the areas that can make the biggest difference to your results.

Make smarter game selections
Learn how your choice of opponents, partners, and DUPR rated games can affect your rating. We’ll look at how to seek out games that provide meaningful opportunities to improve your DUPR while still developing your game against appropriate competition.

The goal isn’t to artificially inflate your rating. It’s to put yourself in situations where your results accurately reflect your ability and where you have the best opportunity to improve.
