Pickleball paddles don’t all have to look the same.
AIREO Sports is adding another distinctive design to its Cyclone collection with the new Cyclone Frangipani Hybrid NanoGraph. Inspired by the frangipani flower, this paddle brings a bold floral look to a performance-focused paddle platform.

A Fresh Look for the Cyclone
The Frangipani Hybrid takes the Cyclone platform and gives it a striking floral design. It’s aimed at players who want their equipment to stand out without sacrificing the performance features of the Cyclone lineup.
But this isn’t just about appearance. The Hybrid combines a 16mm foam core with AIREO’s NanoGraph surface technology, designed to deliver a balance of power, control and spin.
The Cyclone platform also uses AIREO’s PulseFoam™ core and Floating Foam Suspension technology, which the company says are designed to support responsive power, ball dwell time and control.
The hybrid shape offers a middle ground between traditional widebody and elongated paddles, making it an interesting option for players looking for a balance of reach and maneuverability.
For Players Who Want Something Different
One thing I enjoy about the pickleball equipment market is seeing brands experiment with both performance and design.
Some players want a stealthy black paddle. Others want bright colours, unusual shapes or something that stands out across the court.
The Frangipani is clearly aimed at the latter group. Its floral inspiration gives it a distinctive look while retaining the Cyclone platform’s performance-oriented construction.
I haven’t personally tested this specific design, so I won’t pretend to have a verdict on how it plays. But if you’re already interested in the Cyclone Hybrid platform and want something more visually distinctive, it’s worth a look.
