My Take on RPM Pickleball
RPM Pickleball has built its lineup around performance-focused paddles, with an emphasis on modern construction, spin, power and control. The brand offers several distinct paddle designs rather than relying on a single shape or playing style, giving players options to consider as their game develops.
The Friction Pro series uses a polymer honeycomb core with an EVA foam ring, while the Friction Pro V2 adds an axial carbon layup designed to increase spin potential. Players who prefer full-foam construction can look at the Q2 series, which is designed around power and a direct feel. These are meaningfully different approaches to paddle design, so it is worth comparing construction rather than choosing by brand name alone.
RPM has also expanded its range with the Jade series, which has received a lot of hype lately, for good reason. Shape and thickness matter here: elongated paddles can offer extra reach, while widebody designs generally prioritize a broader hitting area. The choice between 14mm and 16mm can also influence the balance of pop, stability and control.
For players already considering a premium paddle, a 15% discount can make the decision easier on the wallet. The DINKDYNASTY code gives you a way to save while comparing the different RPM options and deciding which construction and shape best suit your game.
Who Should Consider RPM Pickleball?
RPM is worth a look for intermediate and advanced players who are comparing performance-oriented paddles and want to be deliberate about construction, shape and core thickness. Players who prioritize power may want to investigate the full-foam Q2, while those who want to focus on spin or a more balanced feel may prefer to compare the Friction Pro V2 and original Friction Pro.
It can also be a useful brand to consider if you know what you want from a paddle but are still narrowing down the right configuration. Compare the elongated and widebody options, consider whether 14mm or 16mm better fits your preferences, and review the current specifications before buying. The DINKDYNASTY code offers 15% off, and US orders qualify for free shipping.
