My Take on Engage Pickleball
Engage is one of the more established names in pickleball, with more than a decade of experience developing paddles and equipment specifically for the sport. Their current lineup covers a wide range of playing styles and price points, from the Encore and Pursuit lines to newer paddles like the X2 and ProFoam.
What I find particularly interesting about Engage is that they haven’t stopped evolving as paddle technology has changed. Their newer paddles incorporate things like quad-density foam cores, raw carbon fiber and other modern construction techniques, while the company still maintains some of its more traditional paddle lines.
In my opinion, Engage is a great option for players who want an established pickleball-specific brand without feeling like they’re buying from a company that simply jumped into the sport because it became popular. There’s a lot of experience behind the brand, but the current lineup shows they’re still adapting to where paddle technology is going.
It’s worth mentioning, if you’re a Padel player, the coupon code 20DINKDYNASTY also works for 20% Engage Padel paddles and gear + you get free shippnig!
Who Should Consider Engage?
Engage has enough variety that it’s worth considering for a wide range of players. The current lineup includes paddles aimed at power, control and all-around play, as well as elongated, hybrid and widebody shapes.
One thing I particularly like for anyone trying a new paddle is Engage’s 30-day Test Drive. Their direct-to-consumer paddles can be returned during the test-drive period, and Engage also backs its paddles with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects.
