✓ Last verified: Oct 15, 2026My Take on CPX
CPX is a brand that has caught my attention because they’re taking a fairly aggressive approach to the value side of the paddle market. Their lineup ranges from the CPX Air and Pro at around $100 through the Max, Ultra and newer Hyper models, with construction ranging from carbon fiber to Kevlar, thermoformed and foam-enhanced designs.
What stands out to me is that CPX isn’t just competing on a low price. They’re putting some genuinely interesting construction into their paddles, while also offering features like USA Pickleball approval and a 90-day money-back guarantee. That gives players a chance to try a paddle without being locked into the purchase if it isn’t a good fit.
I think CPX is one of the more interesting value plays I’ve come across recently. If you’re looking at $200+ paddles and wondering whether you really need to spend that much, CPX is a brand I’d definitely have on the shortlist to investigate.
Who Should Consider CPX?
CPX is particularly worth a look if you want modern paddle construction without automatically moving into the $200–$300 price range. The lineup also covers several different playing styles, from the control-oriented Pro and quick Air through the power-focused Max and all-around Ultra.
The 90-day guarantee is another reason I think CPX is worth considering. It gives you considerably more opportunity to actually play with the paddle and decide whether it suits your game than a typical short return window.
