CPX Hyper+ Pickleball Paddle Sale: Get It for $135 USD

There’s a newer name in pickleball that’s starting to generate some serious attention: CPX Pickleball.

The brand has been building its lineup around performance-focused paddles, and its new Hyper+ is particularly interesting. It uses a full-foam core rather than the traditional honeycomb construction found in most pickleball paddles.

And right now, there’s a pretty compelling reason to take a closer look.

The CPX Hyper+ is available for $150 USD with its 50% pre-order discount. Use my coupon code JOEL96689 for an additional 10% off, bringing the price down to just $135 USD.

That’s a substantial discount for a paddle featuring one of the more interesting construction approaches in the current market.

What Makes the CPX Hyper+ Interesting?

The biggest talking point is the full-foam core.

Most traditional pickleball paddles use a honeycomb core. Full-foam paddles take a different approach, replacing that honeycomb structure with foam throughout the paddle body.

The idea is to create a more consistent response across the face, improving forgiveness on off-center hits while combining power and control.

The Hyper+ also features a raw carbon fiber face, a thermoformed construction and CPX’s proprietary HyperFoam X Core technology.

It’s a genuinely interesting combination of features, particularly for players who are curious about the newer generation of foam-core paddles but don’t necessarily want to spend flagship-paddle money.

Is the Hype Justified?

I haven’t had the opportunity to test the Hyper+ myself yet, so I’m not going to pretend this is a personal paddle review.

However, independent reviewers have already put it through its paces.

Pickleball Union’s review awarded the Hyper+ 4.75 out of 5, highlighting its large sweet spot, forgiveness, spin and combination of power and control. The reviewer also noted that the paddle’s power takes some adjustment, particularly for players coming from softer, lower-powered paddles.

Rally & Dink’s review gave it 4.2 out of 5, praising its full-foam construction and value while raising reasonable questions about the support and long-term track record of a newer brand.

Those are encouraging reviews, but they also illustrate why it’s worth looking beyond the headline rating. The Hyper+ appears to have plenty of power, but players should expect a different feel from a traditional honeycomb paddle.

If you’re interested in trying full-foam technology, it’s worth reading both reviews and deciding whether that style of paddle suits your game.

A Newer Brand Worth Watching

One of the things I enjoy about the pickleball equipment market is seeing newer brands challenge established manufacturers.

CPX isn’t simply offering another paddle with a different paint job. The Hyper+ is built around a different core construction, and that makes it a more interesting product to evaluate.

Of course, newer doesn’t automatically mean better. Established brands often have advantages in terms of track record, support and long-term durability data.

But competition is a good thing for players. If newer companies can deliver interesting technology at more accessible prices, that gives us more options and pushes the rest of the industry to keep innovating.

The Hyper+ is worth a look if you’ve been curious about full-foam paddles and want to explore the category without paying premium flagship prices.
